Dogs

I tend to paint and sketch dogs from life working with a light touch to describe the character and personality of the animal.  I also work from photographs which is often more practical for commissions, especially in the light of changing Covid restrictions.   

 

These are quiet paintings.  There is movement; this is the nature of my mark making or brush strokes.  But the works convey the animal in a moment of peace.
