Landscapes

I paint the landscape from life, in situ.  I use marks and tone both freely and carefully, to describe the form and the forms, the movement, the mood and the light.  I paint what I see.  I try to do so sparely.  Mine is an intuitive response, working to bring the viewer some of the poetry of our shared landscape with paint.
